Today’s song is Grey December, a song I wrote at around the same time as Tangle Me up Dancing… The bathrobe wearing prophet calling me a demon actually did happen. So did a lot of the other little bits in the song.
Recording wise I kept this one simple, a take each of voice and guitar, standard filters, a bit of layering… This is a song that has a lot of little shades and colors in it already. I really do wish I had a drummer for it though. My hand drum and pens just plain didn’t cut it.
